Ski Concierge
Here at The Spire, we want to make your stay enjoyable, memorable and carefree. During winter there are a lot of things that require organising before you can enjoy your time in the snow.
We can purchase lift passes for Coronet Peak, The Remarkables, Cardrona or Treble Cone ski fields on your behalf, arrange for fittings and organise for the ski and snowboarding equipment to be available to you for your time with us.
Ski equipment rentals, include the following:

• Ski/Snowboard boots
• Ski poles
• Jacket and/or pants
• Helmet
• Snow blades
• Toboggans
To make it easier for you, we will collect the equipment and have it ready at the hotel for your convenience, and return it when you are finished.
There are several options for transportation to the ski fields in and around Queenstown so why not let us coordinate this for you. Queenstown has regular bus services daily to and from the ski fields or alternatively we can organise a private transfer.
If you are venturing into the ski fields for the first time, or haven’t been on skis for a while we are more than happy to book a ski instructor to provide you with lessons - you will gain your confidence quickly and enjoy the superb conditions Queenstown ski fields have to offer!
Children are also well catered for at Coronet Peak, with incentives such as Skiwi Kids, a programme which provides a safe environment in which children can learn to ski and enjoy the snow. The team at the Spire would be happy to assist with enrolling your children in programmes such as these to ensure they enjoy their ski holiday in New Zealand.

Your rest's assured at our 5 star hotel Queenstown ... there's a selection of the highest quality duck down pillows on our bed's, ranging from super soft to firm. And, if your personal pillow nirvana still can't be found, try one of these... Well Being pillow, Lavender lambs' wool Pillow, Sonar pillow, Tri pillow, Complete sleeprrrr and the Pregnancy pillow.

The Spire's DVD collection is housed in the lobby and handpicked for your pleasure. It includes a range of classic, children’s, independent release and blockbuster films.

We ask that your room be vacated by 11.00am on your day of departure. You needn't rush off though, you are welcome to leave your luggage with reception and enjoy your last few hours in Queenstown.

Babysitting
The Spire can organise the services of a fully qualified and experienced nanny for the evening or for your entire stay.

Same day laundry and dry cleaning services are available Monday through Saturday. All rooms have an iron and ironing board.
Maid service (daily)
Your room is serviced while you are at breakfast or out for the day. In the evenings we provide a turndown facility to refresh your room while you are at dinner.
Electricity
New Zealand electricity operates at 240 volts. Adapters or converters for electrical appliances are available from reception. Hairdryers are supplied in every bathroom.
Safety
All Spire Guest rooms are individually alarmed to detect smoke, excessive steam etc. All rooms are equipped with an electronic safe and there's a member of staff available 24 hours a day.
Non-smoking rooms
The Spire has a non-smoking policy inside all rooms and public areas. Smoking is allowed on guest balconies.
Wireless broadband
Complimentary WiFi broadband internet access for your business or personal needs in each of our rooms.
Picnic hampers/packs available
We are happy to provide our guests with picnic hampers or a packed lunch - 24 hours notice is required.
Room service
Sleep in, enjoy breakfast in your room or on the balcony. At the end of an action packed day, select from our room service menu and relax with a movie.
